I was heartbroken last night to learn that Ruth Schooley had passed away suddenly on Tuesday.

I never met Ruth in person, but for at least 15 years she was everpresent in my online fiber world — a world in which she leaves a huge void. Generous to a fault, positive, kind, driven… we will all miss her. My most heartfelt condolences to her family.
