Description
CHUMBIVILCAS THROW
Woven in Santo Tomas, the member association furthest from CTTC central operations, in their longstanding blanket tradition. These are heavy duty pieces which can even work well for rugs as well as accent throws and to adorn a wide variety of seating. Durable and beautiful, there are only 5 pieces available in all of CTTC right now and it’s unclear if they’ll continue being a product they carry. Don’t miss your chance to pick up one of these unique pieces.
These amazing textiles are woven by hand on backstrap looms in a variety of CTTC’s member associations, using from yarn that is spun by hand with drop spindles in the traditional Peruvian method stretching back thousands of years, and dyed by hand with natural dyes using sustainable practices and materials local to the Andes of the Cusco region.

Friday, 26 November, you can join our live Trunk Show via Zoom to purchase direct, but if you can’t make it Friday, these textiles are on special sale afterwards through the end of November.
