Spindle kits! These are limited in number and when they're gone, they're gone. I overprepared for Sock Summit 09 with extra spindle kits just in case, and I have 15 left over as of 8 September 2009. These kits come in a drawstring bag with about an ounce each of carded medium wool and combed medium wool. Spindles are low whorl, hookless, with a toy wheel whorl and a shaft with pointed bottom. They're all ceremonially and colourfully ornamented with witty remarks written on them, and feature a rubbed wax finish. Spindles will be signed and come with a "Respect The Spindle" pen. Shafts are maple, oak, cherry, and walnut -- you can specify your choice if you have one, but no guarantees can be made about availability. If the shaft wood you specify isn't available, I'll holler by email to let you know and you can tell me what you would prefer -- substitute or cancel.
Domestic shipping is by priority mail and will be $4.80 for one kit, more if additional ones are added and it goes over a pound.
